Ashwani Kumar Sharma is a seasoned professional with experience of 26 years in the paper and packaging industry. He is the President & CEO of Liquid Packaging Business of UFlex Ltd, i.e., Asepto. He spearheads the brand Asepto steering its operations as the leading business lines under the brand name Asepto by UFlex Group—India’s largest flexible packaging materials solutions company. From becoming one of the youngest CEOs of a global company to heralding knowledge about paper business in packaging, Ashwani Sharma, has emerged as an eminent opinion maker who has transformed the thinking of the Indian liquid aseptic packaging industry.
In 2014, Ashwani Sharma became a part of the Uflex Group as President & CEO, Aseptic Liquid Packaging Business. He established the liquid packaging greenfield project and thereafter managed the entire operations. Known for his ‘go-getter’ attitude, he has inspired people to earn success in challenging situations. He is a strategic planner by heart and believes in leading by example. Before joining the Uflex Group, Ashwani was associated with Asia Pulp and Paper, a USD25 billion company based out of Jakarta, as its Managing Director. His excellent marketing and operational skills have brought significant success for all those companies he worked in the paper and packaging field. He has demonstrated outstanding results in building profitable business entities. He has had enriching global exposure as he was based in Europe as CEO & Chairman of the Board of Horizon.

He was the Business Head Packaging Boards America’s based out of Atlanta USA at APP. He also served as the CEO & Senior President at Century Pulp & Paper (BK Birla Group, India) and Ballarpur Industries, India. Ashwani is an industry expert and has gained extensive experience through global exposure as he tackled challenges and gave optimum solutions to the business.
